Dad's comments upon learning that I got my license:

"We'll all start saying our prayers."
"Call me when you end up in Washington State."
(imitating a high, female voice) "Dad, help, I'm in Washington! They won't let me in, I can't exit the freeway. Oh, everyone is going so fast, what should I do?"
